The new GLINK Dovetail Tuner allows the operator to fine-tune the fore and aft position

The new GLINK Dovetail Tuner allows the operator to fine-tune the fore and aft position of the dovetail when balancing the gimbal on the Carbon Fiber Ring. 

Balancing heavy rigs often poses challenges in achieving precise adjustments by hand, particularly for a solo operator. The tuner kit facilitates micro-adjustments without the need for excessive force.

The tuner is particularly useful for quick calibration of the fore and aft balance when switching between lenses of varying weights, as they alter the overall weight distribution of the rig.

The kit includes two tuning screws, one shorter and one longer, to allow full coverage for different positioned off-centered mounts on the dovetail. They can be used on either side of the CF Ring clamp.

If you wish to lock and secure the tuner by fastening it to the dovetail, there are additional screws included in the kit that can be inserted from beneath without requiring any tools.

Alternatively, for those who prefer the flexibility of attaching and detaching the tuner throughout the day, the kit includes accessory hanger ropes.

These ropes can be connected to each tuner screw and conveniently hung on your GLINK tool rack or camera cart.

To set up the GLINK Dovetail Tuner; first loosen the dovetail locking screw a little, then use the tuner to adjust for the final balance before locking off the fore-aft with the dovetail locking screw.
