Easyrig STABIL G3 dampening & foldable upper arm, supports 5-25 kg
In 2022 the STABIL arm was upgraded even further, it is now known as STABIL G3. Users can now lock the arm without having to use a pin.

This new stabilizing support arm is good for all kind of hand held camera shooting as well as for use with a Gimbal! It stabilizes y-axis movement caused by walking.
Easyrig STABIL can be retrofitted on your existing Easyrig model Cinema 3 or Vario 5 by replacing the upper support arm.
(Alternatively you can decide for a ready-to-use new Easyrig model with already installed STABIL arm. (e.g. EASY-VG582ST)
The spring tension can be adjusted for camera equipment in the weight range 5 to 25 kg. But note that the final payload is also up to the installed shock absorber in your Easyrig.

The Easyrig STABIL G2 is incorporated into the Easyrig system to make the weight distribution as even and ergonomic as possible. Stabil is the Swedish word for “Stable”.
In April of 2020 Easyrig upgraded the STABIL so it’s foldable, making it a lot easier to travel with.
They also upgraded the locking pin so it doesn’t jitter when locked in 90 degrees.
It now comes with a hanger, meaning that you can now hang the rig on a filmcart (or any other surface with an edge).
The Easyrig STABIL G2 can be mounted on to your existing Cinema 3 and Vario 5.
The STABIL G2 can stabilise camera setups between 5-25 kg / 11-55 lbs.
