6) cookies

We use cookies on our website, which serve to optimize the user-friendliness of our website and enable the use of certain functions. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device when you visit our website. Most of the cookies we use are used to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website - so-called session cookies - and are deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. Other cookies - so-called temporary cookies - remain on your end device for a specific period of time and enable us to recognize your end device on your next visit. If you visit our website again, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to re-enter them. We also use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to create and evaluate usage profiles using pseudonyms for the purpose of optimizing our offer, advertising and the needs-based design of our website (see section 7 for details).
The data processed by cookies are necessary for the purposes mentioned to safeguard our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.f) GDPR.
Note: You can set your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. As a precaution, we would like to point out that the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that not all functions of our website can be used.

7) Analysis tools
a) Google Analytics
For analysis purposes, we use the “Google Analytics” tool, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”). This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in optimal marketing, continuous optimization and needs-based design of our offer. The processing of your data described below is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR.

Google Analytics uses "cookies" (see section 6). The information generated by the cookie, such as browser type / version, operating system used, the previously visited page (so-called referrer URL), IP address (host name of the accessing computer) and time of the server request are sent to a Google server transferred to the USA and stored there. IP anonymization is activated on our website, i.e. your IP address is shortened by Google beforehand. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data, which means that conclusions about your person are excluded.

The information obtained is used to evaluate your use of our website in an anonymous form, to create anonymized statistics on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of our website. You can prevent the storage of Google Analytics cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from using your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. We use “Google AdWords” and, in this context, Conversion Tracking, an analysis service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”), to statistically optimize the use of our website to evaluate. If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie (see Section 6) for conversion tracking will be placed on your device. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, contain no personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain Internet pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that you clicked on the ad and were forwarded to the respective website. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie so that no cookies can be tracked via our website. With the help of the conversion cookie, we can track the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
If you do not want to take part in tracking, you can prevent cookies from being set by setting your browser accordingly by blocking cookies from the “www.googleadservices.com” domain. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

We integrate these plug-ins using the so-called "Shariff solution", i.e. buttons that correspond to the plug-ins are integrated, but without pressing the buttons, your browser will not connect to the respective networks. Only when you actively press the button will data be processed in accordance with the following points.

a) Facebook
On our website we use social plugins ("plugins") from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, in order to make the use of our website more personal for you . The buttons can be recognized by the Facebook logo (white “f” on a blue background, provided with the terms “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook”. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

With the Shariff solution, we display buttons according to the respective social plug-ins, with the difference that when you visit our website with the buttons shown, your browser does not connect to Facebook. A script calls up how often a page has already been shared or liked. It contacts Facebook via the services' programming interfaces (APIs) and retrieves the numbers. Therefore, only the server address is transmitted to Facebook (not your IP address). Only when you actively press the Facebook button, e.g. to share content, will a connection be established between the browser you are using and the Facebook servers. As a result, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website on our website. This information (including your IP address) is then transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are also logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. Facebook can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook profiles are created in order to provide other services related to the use of Facebook. To prevent Facebook from receiving data about you via our website that can be assigned to your Facebook account, log out of Facebook before using the Facebook button.
